Pilates Studio equipment provides you with the opportunity to work specifically on areas of the body that require more attention or to help rehabilitate an injury. A well designed Pilates studio programme can also support an athletic or sporting training programme, providing a challenging and dynamic workout to complement an existing training regime.
The equipment further provides the flexibility of exercising safely whilst either lying down, sitting or standing to accommodate those conditions which can make moving around more challenging, e.g. osteoporosis, arthritis.
Maria’s studio contains equipment from the world leading Pilates equipment manufacturer “Balanced Body” in California, and includes the Reformer, Wunda Chair, Spine Corrector and Small Barrel.
You can either attend on a private 1:1 basis or a shared basis. Shared sessions last a bit longer at 75 minutes and are designed to suit the individual, with each person having his or her own programme which is constantly monitored and updated. You will work as an individual although there may up to 4 people in the studio at any one time.
Session appointments available at various times Monday to Thursdays and Saturday mornings, please call Maria on 07948 272 952 to book. All appointments must be booked in advance.
'The wonders of Pilates....My whole body feels better this morning after pilates last night. My quads are still a bit tired from the 10k but I feel so much better after your class. What you have us do fits in really well with the other exercise I do.' Caroline
